Terms & Conditions

By booking on any of our courses you agree to abide by our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to make amendments to the classes’ content, subject to seasonality and availability of produce. Wanderlust Delicato will be entitled to change the timing and/or content of any course and to substitute any teacher at any time.

What’s included:
Ingredients, utensils, knives, equipment, takeaway containers and aprons are provided for all courses.
Some meals are included in the course cost – please see appropriate course details for further information.

Skill Levels:
We welcome all skill levels and will gracefully help students throughout the class.

Health & Safety:
All participants are encouraged to wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. We recommend wearing sensible clothing i.e. not your best outfit – we will not be held liable for any damage that occurs to clothing. Long hair must be tied back in the kitchen. All course participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing the course. We are not liable for any injuries, sickness or accidents during classes.

Children’s Classes:
Children under 12 will not be allowed to use hobs, ovens and steel blade knives, unless under strict supervision. All students under 18 are prohibited from using any piece of equipment with a rotating blade e.g. blenders. Any Student not following the advice given will be asked to leave.

Behavior:
All courses are held in a working kitchen and whilst training is given in the use of the equipment and all reasonable steps to monitor its use are taken, we cannot be held responsible in the event of injury following behavior which ignores that advice.  In accordance with our health and safety procedures, we reserve the right to exclude any student whose behavior ignores advice and puts themselves or others at risk, without refunding course fees, which have been paid. Any unpaid fees will still be payable.

Special dietary requirements, food allergies and illness:
We are unable to change the content of a course* to meet the needs of specific allergies or dietary requirements. However, we will be happy to discuss the contents of the course with you so that alternative arrangements can be made if possible.

*For Team Building, Private Parties and Children’s Parties we are happy to cater for food allergies and dietary requirements but we need to be fully informed in order to provide suitable meals.

It is your responsibility to inform us at the time of booking of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes,
pregnancy, epilepsy, learning difficulties etc for you or your child.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS

Team Building, Private Parties:
At time of booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid for a booking to be recognized, and require full payment a week in advance of the class or event. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive payment.
The date you book is blocked out of the calendar when we receive a non-refundable deposit of 50%.
If you cancel 6 weeks prior to the function there is no further fee.
If you cancel from 6 weeks up to 2 weeks prior to the function 50% of the total table will be required for
payment.
If you cancel under 2 weeks to the event full payment will be required.

Vouchers will be sold with 1-year expiry date from the date of sale; a Class must be Booked before that date.
Vouchers are valid for any classes, Cookery Club, kids or special events, they cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded. Vouchers bought for a specific class can be transferred to another date or used for an alternative class of the same value or as part-payment for a class of higher value. Please contact us in advance to arrange the transfer.

Class/Club Cancellations:
We require a minimum of 14 working days notice of cancellation for any of our classes or club bookings.
Cancelations are only refunded if canceled 14 days or more before the class. Cancelations made within 7-14 days of class can be transferred to a class of equal or lessor value. Cancelations made within 7 days are non-refundable. Any Refunds made will be charged all processing fees associated with booking/cancelling, typically about 3% of total.
If, for any reason, a student cannot make the course date Wanderlust Delicato is happy to have an
alternative student takes his or her place.

Cancellations by Wanderlust Delicato:
In the unlikely event that we cancel, a class Wanderlust Delicato undertakes to provide a suitable alternative within a reasonable period of time. If this is not possible, we undertake to make an immediate full refund for course fees.

Property

All property which you bring to Wanderlust Delicato is brought entirely at your own risk and the proprietors cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.

Personal Details:
Wanderlust Delicato collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. Wanderlust Delicato also collects information, such as your post code, age, gender, preferences, interests, and favorites. This information is used to operate, deliver and improve our services. This information will also be used to inform you of available products and services.
Wanderlust Delicato does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Wanderlust Delicato may share data with trusted partners to help us send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services for Wanderlust Delicato, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
